Does Jobber Measure Lawns from Satellite? Options for 2026
Jobber doesn't list a built-in satellite measuring tool. How Jobber users add one: Deep Lawn, SiteRecon, Google Maps, or a free tool like AboveYard.

Jobber does not list a built-in satellite measuring tool in its plans. To measure lawns from satellite with Jobber, you either trace the property in Google Maps and type the number in, connect a measuring integration such as Deep Lawn or SiteRecon, or measure in a separate free tool and copy the square footage into your Jobber quote.
This guide covers what Jobber includes for quoting, every measuring option we could verify, and a simple workflow that adds measuring without switching CRMs. All vendor facts come from each vendor's own site, fetched October 17, 2026. One disclosure: AboveYard is our product, so weigh what we say about it accordingly.
What Jobber includes for quoting
Jobber is a full field service platform: quoting, scheduling, invoicing and payments in one account. Its pricing page lists four plans:
| Plan | Billed annually | No commitment |
|---|---|---|
| Core | $29/mo | $49/mo |
| Connect | $99/mo | $139/mo |
| Grow | $149/mo | $199/mo |
| Plus | $399/mo | $499/mo |
Prices shown are for one user; the page's user selector raises the price as you add people. For quoting, the page lists:
- Quotes with signature approvals on all plans.
- Online booking and request forms on all plans.
- Automated follow-ups from Connect up.
- Optional line items from Grow up.
- Jobber App Marketplace access on all plans.
Satellite or aerial measuring is not listed on the pricing page. Jobber's help article, How to Measure Property Distance and Size, describes the built-in route: open the property, choose "Show on Map," switch Google Maps to satellite view, use "Measure distance" to click around the area, then record the result in a custom field you create in Settings. The same article describes the Deep Lawn integration as the automatic option.
Jobber also offers a free public lawn care cost calculator. You trace the lawn and edging on a satellite image, enter your cost per square foot and per linear foot of edging, and it returns square footage, edging length and pricing options. It asks for your name and contact details to show results. The page does not say the results save into a Jobber account.
Ways to add satellite measuring to Jobber
| Tool | How it measures | Works with Jobber how | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps (Jobber help method) | Click points on satellite view | Manual: type the number into a Jobber custom field | Free | Occasional quotes |
| Jobber lawn care cost calculator | Trace lawn and edging on satellite image | Manual copy; Jobber account sync not listed | Free | Quick one-off checks |
| Deep Lawn | AI auto-measures lawn, buildings, driveways, walkways | Marketplace integration: measurements go to property custom fields and new quotes | $120–$1,500/mo for 40–800 searches | Lawn companies that want hands-off measuring |
| SiteRecon | AI takeoffs on aerial imagery | Integration attaches maps and measurements to Jobber quotes (Growth plan and up) | Scout $39/mo; Growth $250/mo | Landscape and snow crews doing bigger takeoffs |
| PropertyIntel (formerly Go iLawn) | AI and manual tracing on aerial and satellite imagery | Jobber integration not listed; built around Aspire | Not listed | Aspire users and commercial sites |
| AboveYard | Trace areas and lines on Esri satellite imagery | Manual: copy sq ft or line items into Jobber, or send AboveYard quote then create the job | Free | Small crews that want free measuring and signed quotes |
Option by option
Google Maps inside the Jobber workflow
This is the method Jobber's own help center walks through. It costs nothing and needs no extra account. The tradeoff is time: you measure in one app, then type every number into Jobber by hand. Fine for a few quotes a week. Slow for a busy spring.
Jobber's free lawn care cost calculator
The calculator traces the lawn and edging for you on satellite imagery, and it prices weekly, biweekly, monthly or one-time service from your rates. It is a public web tool, not a feature inside your Jobber account, and it asks for contact details before showing results. Treat it as a quick measuring aid, then build the quote in Jobber.
Deep Lawn
Deep Lawn is the integration Jobber points to. Per Jobber's help article, connecting it from the App Marketplace adds a Deep Lawn custom field section to properties. New properties get AI measurements of lawns, buildings, driveways and walkways, and those numbers carry onto new quotes for that property. Deep Lawn's integrations page says clients, jobs, pricing and job notes sync between the two accounts. It requires a separate Deep Lawn account and is available in the US and Canada.
Deep Lawn's pricing page is search-based: LaunchHD $120/month for 40 searches, ProfessionalHD $200 for 100, PerformanceHD $500 for 300 and PremiumHD $1,500 for 800. Extra searches cost $1.50 to $2.50. Which plans include the Jobber connection is not listed.
SiteRecon
SiteRecon's integrations page lists Jobber among its connections, and its pricing page says the Jobber integration lets you "attach property maps and measurements to Jobber quotes." That integration is listed on Growth ($250/month) and above, not on Scout ($39/month). Each plan includes monthly measurement credits: $20 on Scout and $200 on Growth, Teams and Partner.
PropertyIntel (formerly Go iLawn)
PropertyIntel is now part of Aspire. Its product page describes AI outlining, manual drawing on imagery, PDF site-plan takeoffs, and both high-resolution aerial and satellite imagery. It describes Aspire integration; a Jobber integration is not listed, and pricing is not listed.
AboveYard
AboveYard is our product. You type a US or Canada address, trace areas in square feet and lines in linear feet on Esri satellite imagery, and price them from a rate sheet: per square foot, per 1,000 square feet, per linear foot or flat, with minimums, and per visit or one-time. The customer gets a quote page by link with the measured map, optional add-ons and a typed e-signature that records time and IP. You get an email when the quote is opened and when it is approved, and you can print it or save a PDF.
It is free: no paid plan, no credit card, unlimited measurements and quotes. See the full feature list on our satellite measurement software page.
Be clear on the limits. AboveYard has no Jobber integration, so nothing syncs. Copying numbers into Jobber is a manual step. It also has no scheduling, invoicing, payments, AI auto-measure or website quote widget. Jobber handles the first three; Deep Lawn or SiteRecon handle AI measuring.
A simple workflow: measure, price, then quote in Jobber
If you want to keep Jobber as your system of record and add satellite measuring without paying for an integration, this works:
- Measure. Enter the client's address in your measuring tool and trace each service area: lawn, beds, driveway, fence line. If you're new to tracing, read how to measure a lawn from satellite.
- Subtract what you don't service. Cut out the house, patio and pool so the lawn number is turf only.
- Price. Apply your rate per 1,000 sq ft or per linear foot, and respect your minimum charge.
- Choose where the quote lives.
- Option A: Copy the measured square footage and line item totals into a new Jobber quote, then send it from Jobber for signature approval.
- Option B: Send the measured quote from your measuring tool, and once the customer signs, create the client and job in Jobber.
- Save the measurement. Store the square footage in a Jobber property custom field, as Jobber's help article suggests, so next season's quote starts from the same number.
- Spot-check. Compare a few satellite numbers against a tape or wheel on site until you trust them.
For line-item structure, our lawn care quote template has a layout that maps cleanly onto Jobber quote lines.
How to choose
- A few quotes a week, zero budget: Google Maps plus a Jobber custom field, or Jobber's free calculator.
- High volume, want measurements to appear in Jobber automatically: Deep Lawn. Budget for searches.
- Larger landscape or snow takeoffs pushed into Jobber quotes: SiteRecon on Growth or above.
- You run Aspire, not Jobber: PropertyIntel.
- You want free tracing, rate-sheet pricing and a signed quote, and don't mind copying numbers into Jobber: AboveYard. Sign up free.
Whichever you try, run five recent addresses through it and compare against what you actually billed. That tells you more than a feature list.
