Deep Lawn Alternatives: Satellite Lawn Measuring and Quoting Tools Compared

Deep Lawn alternatives compared: QuoteIQ, MeasureLawn Pro, LawnPro, SiteRecon, SatQuote, PropertyIntel and AboveYard, with pricing and per-search costs.

Deep Lawn is built around one idea: type an address, get the lawn measured automatically, and sell the service, often without a human in the loop. For lawn and pest companies with steady website traffic, that's a strong pitch.

But Deep Lawn is priced by searches, and every quoted property uses one. If you're a smaller operator, or you mostly need to measure and send quotes yourself, you may be paying for capacity you don't use. This guide compares the main Deep Lawn alternatives, with every competitor fact taken from that vendor's own pages on October 16, 2026.

What Deep Lawn does well

Deep Lawn's measurements page says it measures the lawn, lot, buildings, driveways and walkways from an address, using geospatial models built in-house. It sources imagery "from multiple satellite and aerial providers," lists 6 cm resolution, and uses historical leaf-off imagery to handle tree cover. Your team can add, cut or reset any polygon.

Its online sales page describes a website storefront: homeowners get an instant price inside your service areas, build a plan, sign with your terms and pay through your processor. The internal quoting page covers the phone-and-desk side.

Pricing, from the Deep Lawn pricing page (HD imagery plans):

  • Launch: $120/month, 40 searches, $2.50 per extra
  • Professional: $200/month, 100 searches, $2.20 per extra
  • Performance: $500/month, 300 searches, $1.90 per extra
  • Premium: $1,500/month, 800 searches, $1.50 per extra

Plans are month-to-month with no onboarding fees. Add-ons include Geopricing at $85/month, team members at $22/month each, and a PCI Vault at $95/month.

A quick example: a company quoting 70 properties a month on Launch pays $120 plus 30 extra searches at $2.50, or $195. On Professional it pays $200 flat. That's fair pricing for automated measuring and online checkout. The question is whether you need both.

Why people look for alternatives

The reasons usually fall into three buckets:

  1. Volume doesn't match the plan. Seasonal spikes mean extra-search fees in spring and unused searches in winter.
  2. No website traffic yet. The storefront is the headline feature. If your leads come by phone and referral, you may only need the measuring and quoting.
  3. Need a full CRM. Deep Lawn connects to CRMs and payment processors but isn't one itself.

The alternatives in more detail

QuoteIQ

QuoteIQ's MapMeasure Pro has you trace the area on Google's satellite layer, then saves the square footage straight into the estimate. Its AI AutoMeasure traces a lawn at 100 IQ Credits per surface (lawn and concrete need a rough outline first). InstaQuote lets customers draw their own lawn, but it's on the Elite and Max plans only.

The pricing page runs from $29.99 to $699.99/month, with MapMeasure starting on Beginner at $99.99. Scheduling, invoicing and payments are on every plan.

Best for: owners who want measuring, CRM and payments in one subscription.

MeasureLawn Pro

MeasureLawn Pro is the closest thing to a lightweight Deep Lawn storefront. Homeowners outline their lawn on your website and see your price. Silver is $39/month and Gold is $79/month after a 60-day trial, and both list "unlimited measurements and instant quotes" with fair use. There's no per-measurement or per-lookup fee on paid plans. A free Bronze tier covers network leads only.

It also says plainly that it doesn't schedule crews or send invoices. Measurement is manual tracing, with assisted outlining on Gold where available.

Best for: solo and small lawn companies that want a website quote button for under $100 a month.

LawnPro

LawnPro is a full CRM with measuring included. Its estimates page says the satellite area calculator is "included on every plan," and AI Measurements is a pay-per-use add-on. Its pricing page labels that add-on "AI Measurements (DeepLawn)," so it's a way to get Deep Lawn's measuring inside a CRM. Plans run from free to $249/month. LawnPro "does not collect an e-signature on estimates."

Best for: lawn businesses that want scheduling, chemical tracking and billing alongside measuring.

SiteRecon

SiteRecon's pricing page targets landscape estimators. Scout is $39/month for one user with $20 in measurement credits. Growth ($250), Teams ($400) and Partner ($500) add users, $200 in monthly credits and done-for-you takeoffs. Credits are priced at $1 per acre ($2 for multi-service). It lists AI instant measurements and high-resolution aerial imagery.

Best for: commercial maintenance companies bidding multi-acre sites.

SatQuote

SatQuote's homepage lists high-resolution Nearmap imagery, freehand and shape drawing tools, AI-enhanced measuring, lot lines and owner info, and online approvals and payments. Its pricing page shows Map Basic at $22.00, Map Pro at $55.00 and Map Ultra at $220.00, with 500, 2,000 and 10,000 credits. The page text doesn't state a billing period. SatQuote also says it's investing in a newer product, LaunchPad.

Best for: landscapers who want design and mapped proposals, not just square footage.

PropertyIntel (formerly Go iLawn)

Go iLawn's pricing URL now redirects to Aspire's PropertyIntel page. PropertyIntel offers ProMaps AI detection, manual drawing, PDF takeoffs, and a choice of two aerial imagery sources at two-inch resolution. Plans are Essential (one user, up to 10 properties a month), Advanced and Enterprise. Prices aren't listed on that page.

Best for: larger landscape companies, especially those already on Aspire.

Where AboveYard fits

AboveYard isn't an online storefront, so it doesn't replace Deep Lawn's main feature. It's for the operator who quotes by phone or text and wants the measuring and the signed quote handled without per-search math.

You trace the lawn on Esri satellite imagery, price it from your own rate sheet (per 1,000 sq ft, per sq ft, per linear foot or flat, with minimums), and send a quote page with optional add-ons and a typed e-signature. You get an email when it's opened and when it's approved. It costs a flat $49/month after launch with unlimited users and measurements, and it's free during early access.

No scheduling, invoicing, payments, AI auto-measurement or website widget yet. Test the tracing with the free lawn size calculator, or read our guide on measuring a lawn from satellite.
